SPARC T5-1B Information

The SPARC T5-1B server module from Oracle and the Sun Blade 6000 chassis from Oracle is designed to work together to offer a powerful integrated platform for data-intensive and enterprise workloads. It boasts 2.3x the performance of previous-generation computers thanks to the new SPARC T5 CPU, the world's fastest microprocessor.

With 16 cores per processor, the system throughput is 2.3x that of the preceding generation.
Application speed and scalability are improved with a 1.2x single-thread performance boost and a doubled L3 cache.
The SPARC T5-1B server module contains twice as many computation cores (8 to 16) as the previous generation, allowing for twice as many threads (64 to 128)
