The Sun Blade X8450 server module for the Sun Blade 8000 is a quad-core Intel Xeon processor-based blade. In comparison to rival systems, it features up to double the memory capacity, internal storage, and integrated networking connectivity. The Sun Blade X8450 Server Module adds four Intel Xeon Processor sockets to the Sun Blade 8000 platform, allowing for four-socket applications. With up to 16 cores, 32 DIMM slots, four x8 PCIe lanes, and two x4 PCIe lanes, you'll have a more efficient platform, better system management, and Xeon performance.
