Blade X6275 M2 Information

A dual-node blade, the Sun Blade X6275 M2 Server Module. The server's two compute nodes (node 0 and node 1) are contained in a single blade enclosure and are connected via a single motherboard. Within a blade, the two computing nodes are identical and symmetric, yet they are completely independent of one another. The IOH24D, the I/O Controller Hub 10 (ICH10R), and the I/O subsystem are all part of a two-socket Intel Xeon platform that powers the blade's two nodes. The Sun Blade X6275 M2 Server module has two computing nodes, each with its own ILOM SP based on the AST2100 chip.

  • A dual-node high-density computing blade for cloud, middleware, and virtualized systems, the Sun Blade X6275 M2 server module. 
  • The two compute nodes (Node 0 and Node 1) of the server blade are housed in a single blade enclosure on a single motherboard. 
  • Only the Sun Blade 6000 modular system chassis supports the server module.
