A dual-node high-performance computing (HPC) blade, the Sun Blade X6275 server module. The two compute nodes (Node 0 and Node 1) of the server blade are housed in a single blade enclosure on a single motherboard. Within a Sun Blade X6275 server module blade, the two computing nodes are identical and symmetric, but they are completely independent of one another.
- Each node has a Sun Flash Module, which serves as the node's trustworthy and secure boot source.
- In the Sun Blade 6000 modular system chassis and the Sun Blade 6048 modular system chassis, the Sun Blade X6275 1GbE Server Module is supported.
- Each computing node on the Sun Blade X6275 IB Server Module features one 4x QDR (Quad Data Rate) InfiniBand (IB) port that connects to the Sun Blade modular system chassis midplane's Network Express Module (NEM) 1 slot, for a total of two IB ports per server module.
