The Sun BladeTM X6220 server module is a two-socket enterprise-class datacenter engine that offers significant cost savings while delivering the highest performance. This technology allows IT infrastructures or Web service farms to be consolidated at half the cost of competing servers. Furthermore, because these blades scale readily and enable the widest range of configurations and applications, they give the flexibility that protects your investments and helps you build your business in the future.

The Sun BladeTM 6000 family provides up to twice the memory and I/O capacity of comparable blades and rackmounts.
Large memory configurations can save you up to half the money.

Operating system flexibility – SolarisTM 10 OS, Linux, Windows, or VMware are all supported
