The Lenovo ThinkServer RD240 is designed for cost-conscious businesses that require high performance, large storage capacity, and ease of use. The Intel Xeon 5500 and 5600 series CPUs in the ThinkServer RD240 provide up to 12 CPU cores and a performance boost of up to 60% over previous-generation servers. The ThinkServer RD240 also supports 8 memory slots and a maximum of 64 GB of ECC memory. Lenovo provides storage capacities of up to 16TB and 15K SAS disks for improved performance.
