Oracle Server X7-8 is an eight-socket x86 server with industry-leading performance, scalability, and unsurpassed dependability, availability, and serviceability (RAS). The Oracle Server X7-8 eight-socket configuration is great for memory-optimized databases, scale-up applications, and enterprise workloads that require a lot of I/O bandwidth, memory, and cores. Oracle's industry-leading 5U form factor allows for a 33 percent increase in rack-level core density and a twofold increase in flash capacity over the previous generation.
