Oracle Server X5-8 is the most powerful and advanced eight-socket x86 server on the market, with unrivaled performance, scalability, dependability, availability, and serviceability (RAS). It's perfect for memory-optimized databases, scale-up apps, and business workloads that demand a lot of I/O bandwidth, memory, and cores. In comparison to the previous generation, it has 20% more processors, 20% greater memory bandwidth, and doubles the flash storage. Oracle's industry-leading 5U form factor allows for a 60% increase in rack-level core and memory slot density over competitors.
