The Oracle Server X6-2L has best-in-class reliability, serviceability, and availability (RAS) characteristics that boost the server's overall uptime. Oracle Server X6-2L is the ideal solution for single-node Oracle Database deployments in distant or branch office locations because of its exceptional reliability. The availability of the system is improved via real-time monitoring of the CPU, memory, and I/O subsystems, as well as the ability to off-line defective components. Oracle Linux and Oracle Solaris have been updated to give fault detection capabilities while running on Oracle Server X6-2L, building on the firmware-level problem detection. Furthermore, extensive system diagnostics and hardware-assisted fault reporting and logging allow for easy identification of failed components.
