Oracle X7-2 Information

The Oracle Server X7-2 two-socket x86 server is optimized for Oracle Database security, stability, and speed, and it's a great starting point for operating Oracle software in the cloud. Oracle Server X7-2 is designed to operate Oracle Database in SAN/NAS installations and to deliver infrastructure as a service (IaaS) in the cloud and virtualized environments where core density, memory footprint, and I/O bandwidth must all be optimized. Oracle Server X7-2 may store the complete Oracle Database in flash for extreme performance or increase I/O performance using Database Smart Flash Cache, a feature of Oracle Database, with support for up to 51.2 TB of high-bandwidth NVM Express (NVMe) flash drives.

Uses Oracle's proprietary NVM Express design to accelerate Oracle Database with hot-swappable flash.
Creates a more secure cloud to avoid cyber-attacks
