SPARC T7-2 Information

The SPARC T7-2 server from Oracle is a two-processor system that enables businesses to respond to IT demands with high security and performance at a cheaper cost than alternatives. It's great for a variety of enterprise workloads, including databases, applications, Java, and middleware. This system is based on the SPARC M7 processor, which is the first to employ Oracle's breakthrough Software in Silicon technology. Software in Silicon is a breakthrough in microprocessor and server design, allowing databases and applications to function quicker and more reliably than ever before. Oracle's SPARC M7 processor has a Silicon-protected memory feature that may detect and prohibit incorrect operations to application data through hardware monitoring of software access to memory.
