Oracle's SPARC S7-2 rackmount server is a dual-socket, carrier-grade server built for scale-out designs. The SPARC S7-2 features a small 2U footprint and provides efficiency, security, and ease usage. This next generation of carrier-grade systems takes advantage of Oracle's Software in Silicon features, which provide acceleration, integrated near-zero overhead security, and maintenance convenience. The server runs Oracle Solaris, which is the most modern and secure operating system available, making it perfect for telecommunications-related embedded industrial, public sector, cloud, and on-premises infrastructures.
