Operating in a fully redundant (control and forwarding) 4.8 Tbps capacity, the ACX7509 router is a high-end aggregation solution housed in a 5U form factor.

It supports a broad range of port densities, including 1GbE, 10GbE, 25GbE, 40GbE, 50GbE, 100GbE, 200GbE, and 400GbE, along with PTP (Class C) and MACsec support. Exclusively running on Junos OS Evolved, this router provides high performance, scalability, and flexibility to accommodate IP services and functions for service providers, data centers, web, and enterprise networks.

The ACX7509 router incorporates advanced features such as segment routing, flexible licensing, and comprehensive capabilities tailored for 5G and cloud metro architectures. Its innovative design, featuring ASIC-free interface modules, allows for build-as-you-grow port speed flexibility, making it an ideal solution for high fan-out aggregation services and legacy network support use cases. The router supports three types of field-replaceable FPCs for packet forwarding, enhancing operational simplicity and bandwidth flexibility in network transformation efforts.
