It facilitates the extension of operational intelligence from the service provider edge to the access network, simplifying access and aggregation architectures through the elimination of unnecessary layers and overlays.

This results in a significant reduction in both capital and operational expenditures, aligning seamlessly with the true universal metro paradigm. Compliant with Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) CE2.0 standards for Ethernet and IP/MPLS, the ACX Series offers high capacity, scalability, and a secure packet optical transport layer, ensuring industry-leading performance across various port densities and interface types.

The ACX1100, a compact and environmentally hardened 1U router, boasts a fixed configuration of eight copper GbE 10/100/1000 Mbps interfaces and four GbE copper/fiber combination ports, delivering 60 Gbps performance with programmability. Its fanless passive cooling system makes it particularly well-suited for external cabinet or tower installations.
