The Juniper Networks AP61 is an advanced outdoor access point designed to support 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi, patented Bluetooth® LE technology, and seamless integration with the Internet of Things (IoT). Working in tandem with the Juniper Mist Cloud Architecture driven by Mist AI, the AP61 excels in collecting and analyzing real-time metadata from wireless clients, enabling swift problem detection and root cause identification with predictive recommendations and proactive correction, embodying the concept of self-driving networks™.

The AP61 is equipped with a dynamic vBLE 16-element antenna array, providing the industry's most accurate and scalable location services, including User Engagement, Asset Visibility, and Contact Tracing applications, all achieved without the need for battery-powered BLE beacons and manual calibration. Delivering high-performance wireless access, the AP61 boasts three 802.11ac Wave 2 radios, reaching speeds of up to 1730 Mbps in the 5GHz band and up to 800 Mbps in the 2.4GHz band. Whether extending user experiences beyond indoor spaces or establishing pervasive outdoor wireless connectivity with mesh backhaul, this Juniper access point excels in performance and simplicity within an industrial-grade form factor.

The Juniper Networks AP61 Access Point seamlessly integrates a 16-element Virtual Bluetooth LE (vBLE) antenna array controlled through the Juniper Mist Cloud Architecture, offering high-accuracy Bluetooth LE location services using virtual beacons. A dedicated dual-band third radio contributes to the patent-pending Proactive Analytics and Correlation Engine (PACE). Juniper Mist Wi-Fi Assurance, User Engagement, and Asset Visibility services include a base analytics capability, simplifying the extraction of network insights for proper alignment of support resources or introduction of enhanced premium services.
