Juniper Networks AP41 Access Point Information:
The Juniper Networks AP41 Access Point is a cutting-edge wireless access solution designed to seamlessly integrate with the Juniper Mist cloud architecture for real-time collection and analysis of metadata from all wireless clients. This capability facilitates rapid problem detection and root cause identification, offering predictive recommendations and proactive correction, contributing to the realization of a Self-Driving network™.
The AP41 features a dynamic vBLE 16-element antenna array, providing highly accurate and scalable location services, including Juniper User Engagement, Asset Visibility, and Contact Tracing, all without the need for battery-powered BLE beacons or manual calibration. With integrated IoT sensors and an interface port for analog/digital device control, the AP41 enables advanced location-based use cases such as door locking and camera control. Operating as tri-radio 4x4 access points, the AP41 supports maximum data rates of 1730 Mbps in the 5GHz band and 800 Mbps in the 2.4GHz band. The third radio serves as a network, location, and security sensor, along with a spectrum monitor.
With a 16-element virtual Bluetooth LE (vBLE) antenna array and a dedicated dual-band third radio collecting data for the patent-pending Proactive Analytics and Correlation Engine (PACE), the AP41 ensures robust network performance. The Juniper Mist platform automatically captures and streams packets to the cloud when major issues are detected, providing comprehensive Wi-Fi Assurance, User Engagement, and Asset Visibility services, with a base analytics capability for analyzing up to 30 days of data for valuable network insights.
