The Sun Server X4-4 is the appropriate x86 virtualization platform for enterprise applications and in-memory databases that require huge quantities of memory and I/O, with the highest reliability, availability, and serviceability features in the four-socket area. The new Sun Server X4-4 has 50 percent more cores and memory slots than the previous model, while also improving I/O bandwidth.
