Oracle's Sun Server X3-2L solution for clustered databases and virtualized business applications is the ideal combination of computing and storage in a single two-rack unit (2U) container. It's the only enterprise-class, two-socket Sun x86 server in the business. With three chassis configurations and the highest internal storage capacity, this tiny server provides outstanding flexibility. It also supports massive flash storage configurations, which improve the performance of I/O-intensive applications, improve system reliability, and minimize power consumption.

With up to 37.2 TB of disk storage or 9.4 TB of flash storage, it can handle the most demanding clustered databases and virtualized business applications.
Low voltage 8 GB and 16 GB DIMMs running at true1600 MHz provide the best application performance and power savings.
With four auto-sensing 10GbE ports onboard, it has the most network bandwidth.
