Dell EMC VNX8000 Storage Information:

The VNX8000 is a business-class router that replaces and enhances the capacity of the VNX7500. This model uses a storage processor enclosure (SPE) chassis and supports block, file, and unified configurations. The SPs in this model include twin socket, 2.7 GHz, eight-core Xeon E5 CPUs with 128GB of RAM, and can accommodate up to 1,500 disks with FC, iSCSI, and FCoE host connectivity options. The VNX Operating Environment boots from the first four disks (Vault drives) on the first DAE because this model uses an SPE and has no drives (bus 0 enclosure 0). For all connectivity, the VNX8000's SPEs employ UltraFlex I/O slots.
