Dell EMC VNX5800 Storage Information:
The VNX5800 is a mid-tier device that replaces the VNX5700 from the first generation. This model uses a DPE chassis and supports block, file, and unified configurations. The SPs in this model have a 2.0 GHz, six-core Xeon E5 processor with 32GB of RAM, and can accommodate up to 750 disks with FC, iSCSI, and FCoE host connectivity options. This model makes use of a DPE with a drive size of 25 x 2.5". The VNX Operating Environment starts from the Vault drives, which are the first four drives on the DPE. All connectivity on the VNX DPE is done through UltraFlex I/O slots.
