Dell EMC VNX7500 Disk Array Information:
The VNX7500 is intended for use in the enterprise, and its architecture can be either block or file. The NX-960 and CX4-960 are the VNX7500's predecessors. The 7500 connects to the first DAE in either a 15 drive, 3.5" 3U form factor or a 25 drive, 2.5" 2 U form factor using the SPE form factor. The 7500 SP uses a 2.8 GHz Xeon 5600 6-core processor with either 24 or 48 GB RAM per blade and can host up to 1000 disks, or 2,970 TB raw. The blades are equipped with a 2.8 GHz 6-core Xeon 5600 processor, 24GB RAM, and a maximum capacity of 256TB per blade. Unisphere is the management system in use. The 7500 supports Raid Levels 0, 1, 10, 3, 5 and 6. The maximum number of pools is 60, with a maximum number of 8,192 LUNS, 16TB LUN size.
