Dell PowerConnect 6200 Switches Information:
The PowerConnect 6200 series offers users the flexibility to maximize server and workstation connectivity in a 1U form factor with 24 or 48 built-in copper Gigabit Ethernet ports in a 1U form factor, as well as a 24 port Fiber GbE version for backbone or long-haul connectivity. Additionally, the switches enable up to four 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplinks enabling direct connection to 10 Gigabit Ethernet servers, enterprise backbones, and distributed campus wire closets (IDF and MDF). Power-dependent network applications, such as WLAN access points, are supported by the PowerConnect 6200 series PoE switches with PoE on each port (WAPs).

Dell PowerConnect 6200 Switches Specifications:
Models: Dell PowerConnect 6224 & 6224P, Dell PowerConnect 6224F, Dell PowerConnect 6248 & 6248P.
The Dell PowerConnect 6224 and 6248 switches contain two sockets for 10 Gigabit Ethernet modules (there are only two ports per module) or stacking and either 24 (6224) or 48 (6248) Gigabit Ethernet ports. Other features include stackable switches with up to 4 10Gb ports, Layer 3 routing, all-gigabit ports, full management by CLI or online, and more. The 6200 series also supports high availability routing, edge connection, traffic aggregation, and VOIP applications. The 6224 (P - PoE and F - all SFP ports) and 6248P - 48 Ports of PoE are other models.
