Sun StorageTek L700x Tape Library Information:
The StorageTek L700 Tape Library is intended for use in large, distributed open systems environments such as UNIX and Windows NT. It's suitable for attaching to scalable Storage Area Networks thanks to the high-speed Fibre Channel interface and the Fibre Channel StorageTek 9840 tape drive (SANs). The STK L700 provides exceptional flexibility, performance, and management thanks to its unique combination of high-speed robotics, mixed-media capabilities, and web-based access and monitoring interface. Up to 12 StorageTek STK 9840 or T9940 tape drives, or 20 DLT, SDLT, or LTO Ultrium tape drives, or a combination, can be used in the StorageTek L700 Tape Library to store up to 74.5TB of data.
