In a typical 1U standard chassis configuration, NVIDIA MSB7890-ES2R InfiniBand 1U Switches offer 36 ports with 100 gigabits per second (Gb/s) InfiniBand performance per port. With an aggregated bidirectional throughput of 7.2 terabits per second (Tb/s) and extremely low port latency carried by a single switch, application performance and scalability are increased while operational expenses and the complexity of the IT infrastructure are decreased. The fabric performance of this NVIDIA Mellanox switch MSB7890-ES2R is up to 7.2Tb/s of non-blocking bandwidth with 90ns port-to-port latency. Up to 36 100Gb/s complete bi-directional bandwidth ports are available per MSB7890-ES2R. These standalone switches are the best option for establishing modest to very big-sized clusters or for top-of-rack leaf connectivity.
