Built on IBM X-Architecture and Intel Quick Path Interconnect (QPI) technology, the System x3620 M3 is a 2U, dual-socket rack server for single or multiple general business application hosting. The x3620 M3 can help you save money, improve service, and manage risk with ease thanks to its power-optimized, high-performance Intel Xeon multicore CPUs and an energy-efficient architecture with balanced functionality. The server offers Chipkill ECC memory protection (when using x4 DIMMs). It also offers memory mirroring for redundancy in the event of a non-correctable memory failure.
