The ZS9-2 also offers a maximum memory configuration of 4TB DRAM and expanded memory channels to support the industry's highest IO per second (IOPS) rates. Customers wishing to increase disk capacity will appreciate the ZS9-usage 2's of an 18TB HDD, which boosts the maximum storage capacity to a whopping 21PB.

Sun Oracle ZFS Storage ZS9-2 Specifications:

The ZS9-2 controller has two hot-swappable rear-accessible power supplies with N+N redundancy. The workplace-dependent noise level of this product is 9.5 Bels-weighted Operating, and 8.0 Bels A-weighted Idling. The ZS9-2 mid-range model incorporates one or two controllers and one to twenty-four disk shelves. Each controller has 10 PCle Gen3 slots in the rear, and 12 3.5" disk slots in the front two of which are occupied by system disks. The remaining ten front disk slots have permanent filler panels.
