IBM TS1155 Tape Drive Information:
The IBM TS1155TM Tape Drive makes it simple for businesses to get fast access to data, improve security, and store data for longer periods of time—all at a cheaper cost than disk-based alternatives. The TS1155 is designed to support JD and JZ media formats, but it also includes an improved read/write subsystem that allows for 50 percent more capacity while using (or reusing) JD media than previous-generation drives. TS1155 also provides high-performance, flexible data storage with data encryption capabilities.
