IBM FlashSystem 9200 Storage Array Information:
IBM® FlashSystem 9200 systems are all-Flash array systems. The NVMe-attached drives in the control enclosures provide significant performance improvements as compared to SAS-attached flash drives. The system also supports two all-Flash SAS-attached expansion enclosure options. In a two-rack unit chassis, the IBM FlashSystem 9200 provides petabytes of effective data storage. It makes use of IBM FlashCore technology, which is bundled in a 2.5-inch solid-state drive (SSD) with an NVMe interface. These FlashCore Modules (FCMs) provide powerful inline, hardware-accelerated compression technology, consistent microsecond latency, and high dependability.
