It uses the Co-Design Scalable Hierarchical Aggregation Protocol (SHARP) technology to support in-network computing. The Co-Design architecture makes it possible to use all active data center devices to speed up communications frameworks, improving application performance by an order of magnitude. The NVIDIA MCS7520 InfiniBand Chassis Switches offer up to 216 100Gb/s complete bi-directional bandwidth per port and are constructed using NVIDIA's most recent Switch-IBTM InfiniBand switch devices. For medium-sized to very large clusters, the CS7520 modular chassis switch offers a great price-performance ratio combined with the dependability and management required from a director-class switch.
