The NetApp E-Series series of storage devices, the industry's most flexible enterprise-grade storage system, can support several drive types in either a 2U or 4U form factor. They also provide a full range of SAN interfaces. In brief, the NetApp E-Series is a quick, simple, and dependable storage unit family that is suited for enterprise application.
The E2724 is a two-rack-unit-high (2U) shelf that holds up to 24 2.5" drives. It features dual RAID controllers and dual power supplies with integrated fans. An E2724-based storage system supports a maximum of 192 drives and a mix of expansion-drive shelf models in a single system. The E2724 has a proven track record of reliability and scalability to satisfy requirements in remote dedicated environments or primary data centers.
