NetApp AFF A250 Information:

The AFF A250 is an entry-level NVMe system featuring inbuilt NVMe SSDs on the back end and NVMe over FC (NVMe/FC) host communication on the front end. The AFF A250 array is easier to use, faster, and more efficient than the AFF A220 array. The AFF A250 system provides 45 percent greater performance and 33 percent more storage efficiency, allowing you to accelerate more demanding applications, consolidate more workloads in a shared environment, and save data center costs. It also has some of the fastest client connectivity available on an entry-level system, with 32Gb FC and 25GbE.

In order to hit better performance, the NetApp AFF A250 leverages a CPU with 24 cores and 128GB of memory per HA Pair. The internal storage can be up to 24 NVMe SSDs, though users can order it configured with 8, 12, or 24. The SSDs go up to 15.3TB each or users can use 24 external 30.2TB SSDs.
