HP ProCurve 2700 Switch Series Information:

The ProCurve Switch 2700 series consists of low-cost, unmanaged 24- and 8-port switches with 10/100/1000 auto-sensing per port. The ProCurve Switch 2724 and Switch 2708 are perfect for creating networks since they support connectivity for any mixture of 10 Mbit, 100 Mbit, and 1000 Mbit devices and feature ProCurve/IEEE Auto-MDIX on all 10/100/1000 ports. These switches are intended to be used primarily to give desktop computers access to Gigabit/second networks. These switches can also be used to link servers and peripherals directly, either to a network backbone or to other switches, hubs, or routers.
