The HPE LTO-6 Ultrium 6250 tape drive is HPE's sixth-generation LTO tape drive technology, capable of storing up to 6.25TB (compressed 2.5:1) per cartridge and offering easy-to-enable security with support for LTFS and AES 256-bit hardware data encryption to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access to tape cartridges. Capable of data transfer rates up to 1.44TB/Hour (compressed 2.5:1), HPE's exclusive Data Rate Matching feature further optimizes performance by matching the speed of the host to keep drives streaming and increase the reliability of the drive and media. HPE LTO Ultrium half-height drives are designed for server customers in direct-attached storage (DAS) environments.
