For workplaces and campus networks, the Dell PowerSwitch N3000 Switches provide a durable and power-efficient Gigabit Ethernet GbE) switching solution with built-in 10GbE uplinks. There are possibilities for up to 48 Power-over-Ethernet Plus (PoE+) ports on the Dell EMC PowerSwitch N3000 Series without an additional power supply. Up to 12 ports of 60W Power over Ethernet (PoE 60W) can be supported by the N3024EP-ON and N3048EP-ON, and up to 32 ports can be supported by the N3132PX-ON. This enables you to connect devices that require a lot of power—up to 30.8 watts for PoE+ and 60 watts for PoE 60W—without having to run a separate power cable. Electricity-over-Ethernet is especially helpful in older buildings where it can be prohibitively expensive to connect power to several, dispersed places.
