Juniper Networks QFX5120-48Y Ethernet Switch Information:

The Juniper Networks QFX5120-48Y Switch is a cutting-edge 25GbE/100GbE data center leaf and campus distribution switch designed for optimal performance. Featuring 48 25GbE (SFP28)/10GbE (SFP+)/1GbE (SFP) downlink ports and eight 100GbE (QSFP28)/40GbE (QSFP+) uplink ports, this switch delivers an impressive total throughput of up to 4 Tbps (bidirectional) with ultra-low latency as low as 800 nanoseconds.

The QFX5120-48Y is equipped with a robust 2.2 GHz quad-core Intel CPU, 16 GB memory, and 50 GB SSD storage to ensure high-end performance. Using breakout cables, each of the eight 100GbE QSFP28 ports can be split into four 25GbE SFP28 ports, and each 40GbE QSFP+ port can be divided into four 10GbE SFP+ ports, providing a total of 80 supported 25GbE and 10GbE ports per switch.

Additionally, the QFX5120 switch models boast advanced Junos OS features such as Ethernet VPN-Virtual Extensible LAN (EVPN-VXLAN), BGP add-path, L3 VPN, MPLS, and feature-rich automation capabilities with support for Python and zero-touch provisioning (ZTP).
