Juniper Networks EX3300-48T Ethernet Switch

The Juniper Networks EX3300-48T Ethernet Switch, part of the EX3300 series, is designed with Virtual Chassis technology, delivering a flexible and cost-effective enterprise access solution for demanding environments that require converged data, voice, and video support. The Virtual Chassis technology allows up to six interconnected EX3300 switches to operate seamlessly as a single, logical device, providing a high level of flexibility and management simplicity typically associated with higher-end access switches.

The switch is available in various configurations, offering 48 10/100/1000-T access ports and four dual-mode (GbE/10GbE) SFP/SFP+ uplink ports, with optional support for IEEE 802.3af Class 3 Power Over Ethernet (PoE) and 802.3at PoE+ standards. This PoE support enables the EX3300 to accommodate devices such as telephones, video cameras, and wireless LAN access points, including multiple radio IEEE 802.11n wireless access points.

The switch also features data center-optimized cooling with front-to-back and back-to-front airflow options, making it suitable for GbE data center access deployments, and includes a DC power supply option. All EX3300 models run the same modular Junos OS control plane feature implementation as other Juniper switches, routers, and security devices, ensuring a consistent set of features and capabilities across the Juniper network infrastructure.
