Juniper Networks EX3300-48P Ethernet Switch Information:
The Juniper Networks EX3300-48P Ethernet Switch, featuring Virtual Chassis technology, is designed to provide a versatile, cost-effective solution for enterprise access needs in demanding environments that require support for converged data, voice, and video. Leveraging Virtual Chassis technology, up to six interconnected EX3300 switches can function as a unified logical device, offering flexibility and management simplicity akin to higher-end access switches.
The EX3300-48P comes in multiple configurations, providing options for 24 and 48 10/100/1000-T access ports and four dual-mode (GbE/10GbE) SFP/SFP+ uplink ports, with or without support for IEEE 802.3af Class 3 Power Over Ethernet (PoE) and 802.3at PoE+ standards. This PoE support facilitates the connection of networked devices such as telephones, video cameras, and wireless LAN (WLAN) access points. The switch also boasts data center-optimized cooling options, making it suitable for GbE data center access deployments, and offers a DC power supply option.
All EX3300 models share the same modular Junos OS control plane feature implementation, ensuring a consistent set of features across the Juniper network infrastructure. With comprehensive Layer 2 functionality, support for RIP and static routing, and a compact 12-inch deep 1U form factor, the EX3300-48P delivers a scalable and easy-to-manage solution for today's dynamic enterprise environments. The switch further supports Layer 3 features through enhanced and advanced feature licenses, including OSPF v2, IGMP v1/v2/v3, PIM, VRRP, Q-in-Q, and BGP.
