The Juniper Networks EX2300-48T Ethernet Switch presents a cost-effective and standalone solution tailored for access layer deployments in branch offices, remote locations, and enterprise campus networks. Serving as a hardware-ready satellite device, the EX2300 supports Juniper Networks Junos Fusion Enterprise, allowing the consolidation of multiple wiring closets into a unified management platform.

For smaller networks, up to four EX2300 switches can be interconnected using Virtual Chassis configuration, simplifying management as if they were a single switch. The EX2300-48T model features 48 ports of 10/100/1000BASE-T connectivity along with 4 x 1/10GbE SFP/SFP+, providing a versatile and high-performance solution for today's converged network access deployments. Each EX2300 switch incorporates an ASIC-based Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE) with an integrated CPU, ensuring consistent wire-rate forwarding even with all control plane features enabled.
