Used Juniper Networks EX2300-48P Ethernet Switch

The Juniper Networks EX2300-48P Ethernet Switch is a cost-effective and stand-alone solution designed for access layer deployments in branch offices, remote locations, and enterprise campus networks. Functioning as a hardware-ready satellite device, the EX2300 supports Juniper Networks Junos Fusion Enterprise to streamline network operations by combining multiple wiring closets into a single logical management platform. Additionally, up to four EX2300 switches can be interconnected in a Virtual Chassis configuration, simplifying management as if they were a single switch.

The EX2300-48P model features 48 ports of 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+, making it suitable for supporting devices such as telephones, video cameras, and WLAN access points. With 4 x 1/10GbE SFP/SFP+ ports, the switch ensures high-speed connectivity for diverse networking requirements. Leveraging an ASIC-based Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE) with an integrated CPU, the EX2300-48P consistently delivers wire-rate forwarding, showcasing carrier-class performance and reliability akin to Juniper Networks routers.
