Juniper Networks EX2300-24T Ethernet Switch Information:

The Juniper Networks EX2300-24T Ethernet Switch presents a cost-effective and stand-alone solution tailored for access-layer deployments in branch and remote offices, as well as enterprise campus networks. Designed for simplicity in network operations, the EX2300 can act as a satellite device in a Juniper Networks Junos Fusion Enterprise deployment, facilitating the consolidation of multiple wiring closets into a single logical management platform. For smaller networks, up to four EX2300 switches can be interconnected using Virtual Chassis technology, allowing them to be managed collectively as a single switch.

The EX2300 line, known for its compact and high-performance attributes, features an ASIC-based Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE) with an integrated CPU, ensuring consistent wire-rate forwarding even with all control plane features enabled. The switch supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) standards, with select models accommodating up to 802.3at PoE+ for devices such as telephones, video cameras, WLAN access points, and videophones. With a maximum system budget of 740 watts, the PoE-enabled EX2300 switches can deliver up to 30 watts to select ports.

Leveraging key technologies like Virtual Chassis, flexible uplinks, Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) support, and complete Layer 2 and basic Layer 3 switching capabilities, the EX2300 series provides exceptional value to enterprise customers. Simplified management is facilitated through Juniper Networks Junos Space Network Director and J-Web GUI, making the EX2300-24T a versatile and efficient solution for converged network access deployments.
