Juniper Networks EX2300-24MP Ethernet Switch Information:

The Juniper Networks EX2300-24MP Ethernet Switch offers an economical and high-performance solution for access-layer deployments in various networking environments. With 24 ports of 10/100/1000BASE-T connectivity, this switch is ideal for branch and remote offices, as well as enterprise campus networks. The EX2300-24MP is hardware-ready to function as a satellite device, supporting Juniper Networks Junos Fusion Enterprise to consolidate multiple wiring closets into a single logical management platform, simplifying network operations.

Additionally, up to four EX2300 switches can be interconnected in a Virtual Chassis configuration for streamlined management. The switch incorporates an ASIC-based Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE) with an integrated CPU, ensuring wire-rate forwarding even with all control plane features enabled.

Supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE) standards, including 802.3af Class 3 and 802.3at PoE+, the EX2300-24MP can deliver up to 740 watts to select ports, making it suitable for devices like telephones, video cameras, and WLAN access points. With a Virtual Chassis interconnect, linking up to four switches as a single logical device, the EX2300-24MP delivers carrier-class performance and reliability, aligning with Juniper Networks' proven technology used in the world's largest service provider networks.
