Featuring flash storage options for accelerated application performance, Solid State Drives (SSDs) provide I/O performance equivalent to one hundred 15k RPM Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) while consuming up to 80% less energy.
Simplifying system management, every Sun Fire X2270 server comes standard with Oracle Integrated Lights Out Manager (ILOM), enabling centralized management locally or remotely. ILOM streamlines system configuration, software provisioning, and updates, offering a consistent interface across the entire x86 product line, thus ensuring efficient and effective server management.
The Sun Fire X2270 Server and the Sun Fire X2270 M2 share remarkable similarities, both representing Sun's commitment to delivering high-performance computing solutions optimized for efficiency and manageability.
